Meet the Leadership Team
Felix Walker – Owner, Principle Broker
Felix Walker started his real estate career in 2003, investing in residential real estate. For years he purchased and renovated homes in the Tri-County area. His success was indicative of the hard work he put into project management and being attentive to his clients’ expectations and goals. In 2009, Felix became a licensed salesperson to work alongside his wife Rashida Walker at Berkshire Hathaway Gateway Real Estate. Felix and his wife were consistently top producers and closed millions in real estate. Felix obtained his Brokers licensed in 2010 and in 2015, with Gods help, opened W Real Estate LLC. Felix has been married to Rashida Walker for 21 years and together they have three beautiful daughters and two grandchildren. Felix is active and passionate about serving. Felix is a member of New Horizon Church International where he serves as a Deacon. Felix is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, Mississippi Association of Realtors and Central Mississippi Association of Realtors. He serves on Central Mississippi Realtors Association’s Grievance Committee.
Rashida Walker, Realtor
Rashida Walker is a successful Real Estate Professional, a Prayer Warrior and Mentor to many in her profession! A graduate of Jackson State University, she worked ten years as a Marketing Rep for a telecommunications firm, SkyTel, a division of WorldCom. In 2007, Rashida was licensed as a Real Estate agent where her real estate career began at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (formerly Prudential Gateway Real Estate). A native of Jackson, Rashida and her husband Felix Walker are known in the Real Estate local market as Team Walker. Rashida has a wealth of experience in Residential, Foreclosed and Commercial real estate sales, including, Sales and Marketing and Training. She primarily specializes in residential sales and listings. Most recently, she was selected as one of the Top 50 Leading Business Women for the State of MS and newly elected in 2017 to a two-year term as a Central Mississippi Realtor Association Board of Director to serve over 1,700 members.
Rashida is a high energetic Listing Specialist in residential and new construction sales. She has worked with many clients building a home from the ground up and serving in the capacity as project manager throughout the construction phase.
But more importantly than awards and accolades, she has learned a very valuable lesson over the course of her career – every client deserves a good educated Realtor that understands the housing market and that those individuals in the market to sell or buy are educated throughout the entire home buying or selling process from selecting the right home to attaining the best financing options to bridging the power of negotiating with skill and diligence.
At the end of the day, Rashida truly works hard for both buyers and sellers! She puts God first and when orchestrating a sale or marketing a home, she is never ashamed to say that she is simply a vessel for Jesus Christ – so success is most often realized for both her clients and the Team. She often says, “Real Estate is truly my ministry!” Rashida constantly encourages and influences others by serving as a prayer warrior for her clients and colleagues and directing their paths to God’s goodness and Mercy.
